This project stands on the shoulders of giants.
Last, but certainly not least, this project couldn't possibly exist without all of the backend technologies that are powering it. Those include .NET and Python for general software development purposes; PostgreSQL, PostGIS, PROJ.4, and GDAL for geospatial data processing; and lots more tools.
The 𝙯𝙚𝙣weather project comes from the desire to have a user-focused weather information provider. Too many other weather services have screens overflowing with extraneous information, and it is the goal of 𝙯𝙚𝙣weather to focus on the weather.
At present, this is a one-man show, as it were, run by Sasha Kotlyar. It should not be considered production-quality and must not be relied upon for monitoring adverse or life-threatening weather conditions.
Found a bug? Want a feature? Please let me know.
The current version of 𝙯𝙚𝙣weather only supports weather alerts for the United States and certain US territories.
This project stands on the shoulders of giants. Please see the Attribution screen for lots and lots of info on said giants.
